Course Description
Title: Phone Banking (Elective)
Method: HCRP In-person Classroom and Field Instruction offered several times per year.
Pre-requisite: Must be a HCRP Precinct Chair
Registration: Contact Steve Watson or your SD Training Officer
Location: HCRP Headquarters, 8588 Katy Freeway, Houston, Tx or TBA Regional area training facilities.
PC Certification Credit: Complete course and forward completion Certificate to HERE
Description: Phonebanking is one of the most effective ways to make a political impact—right from the comfort of your home. By making calls to voters, you’re using a proven strategy to boost voter turnout, inspire civic action, and spark meaningful conversations that can shape long-term political change.
We want to make sure you have everything you need to get started. With the right tools and support, it’s easy to dive into phone banking—and even help others feel confident making their first call.
These resources are specifically designed for National indivisible phonebanks, where you’ll join a
coordinated effort with volunteers from across the county. That’s why we’ve
gathered these trainings, sign-up options, and essential tools—to help you feel
prepared, supported, and ready to take action.
This Elective course will provide the foundation of knowledge to get you started within the HCRP.
